It's nice to meet you!
My name is Halley Garcia and I am a fourth-year honors student at the University of Arkansas interested in innovative and experiential design. I am pursuing a Bachelor's of Interior Architecture & Design with a minor in Event Management. Originally from Kansas City, I have two years of previous intern experience from Benson Method, LLC. This internship allowed me to apply my studies to healthcare and hospitality design projects. In the summer of 2024, I spent my time studying furniture design in Copenhagen, Denmark, expanding my views beyond interiors to explore other design fields such as furniture, textiles, and product development. I am currently an Interior Design Intern at h | d architecture in Kansas City where I am gaining an architectural perspective through team collaboration, digital software, and innovative thinking.

CURRENTLY
I am currently an Interior Design Intern at h | d architecture in Kansas City. As I begin my fourth and final year at the U of A, I am excited to wrap up my time in the Fay Jones School of Design and complete my honors capstone research project titled, Tracing Waste: A Visual Study of Unseen Material Waste in Design.
