Paderborn Senior Living Facility

In central Germany, Paderborn Living Community (PLC) is a 135,000 sq ft. thriving senior living facility offering a wide range of units, amenities, activities, and opportunities for community engagement. Combining traditional German values of embracing nature and celebrating the local community with a focus on self-care and privacy, PLC creates a vibrant and diverse environment for locals and those seeking to immerse themselves in the culture.

Three floors of units are designed to support aging in place, featuring upholstered and armed furnishings, FHA-standard cabinetry and doorways, and window treatment accommodations, including curtains and UV-protective window tinting. Amenities include a dine-in restaurant, public library, private gym and lap pool, cafe, and rooftop bar with an outdoor entertainment stage. Materials are carefully selected for durability, cleanability, and slip resistance. The trio of subtle colors are used throughout the communal spaces but are also individually assigned to each of the three levels. The color and pattern coordination was intentional to ease navigation within the building while also reflecting the vibrant surroundings of Paderborn.
